Recovery of liquid phthalic anhydride from reaction gas mixture

Recovering liquid phthalic anhydride (PA) from reaction gas (RG) containing its gaseous form which is led onto a casing (1) where it executes an S-shaped flow path. First it descends through a condenser (15). Then it passes upwardly through a vertical duct (35), finally to descend through a desublimator (26). Also claimed is the equipment to carry out this method.
