The controller has a base plate (10), a circuit board (20) on the base plate, an electronic circuit (23) electrically connected to the circuit board and a plastic housing cover joined (30) to the base plate in a contact region. The housing cover encloses and guides an electrical conductor (31). One end (32) of the electrical conductor is fed out of the housing cover in the contact region, protrudes into an opening (11) in the base plate and makes an electrical connection with a conducting track on the circuit board. Conductor ends frictionally attach the housing cover to the base plate.
