Padded insole

To produce the padded insole lining, for footwear, the blank (6) is subjected to a counter pressure from below, during the shaping process, from a flat heated plate which is under pressure. The counter pressure is an equal hydrostatic pressure applied to all parts of the padded insole. The insole is of a foam thermoplastic material, such as polyethylene foam. Also claimed is an appts. with an enclosed compartment to be filled with an incompressible poured material. It has a flexible and hydrostatic counter surface (7) as a laying surface for the insole (6) being shaped.
