The switch (1) comprises an actuator (3) movable in a plane from a neutral position into two actuating positions. To the actuating position is allocated a contact system operated by the actuator and consisting of a stationary contact (9) and a spring elastic switching contact (10). There are longitudinally extending contact tongues parallel to the plane, in which the actuator is movable. The free end of the switching contact faces the actuator or its part. In the actuating position the actuator so affects the switching contact that its free end abuts the stationary contact against the resetting force induced by the spring elasticity.
