<p>A system has a portable apparatus (8) which stores personal information and a terminal apparatus (4) which supplies the portable apparatus (8) with information. Through communications with the portable apparatus (8), the terminal apparatus (4) which is arranged in a facility reads out the personal information stored in the portable apparatus (8), and sends the portable apparatus (8) information on installations available to a user in the facility. When the terminal apparatus (4) is arranged at a ticket gate of a railway station, the terminal apparatus (4) sends information on facilities available in the station to the portable apparatus (8) which serves as a ticket, while the user is passing through the ticket gate. With the above-described system, information which will help the user's activities can be supplied to the portable terminal apparatus in the case where the user goes to an unfamiliar place or area on foot or by car.</p> |
