摘要 <p>A plate-like jig (9) is fixed between a stationary-side electrode (5) and a moving-side electrode (6). An arm tip is set to be movable only in the moving direction of the moving-side electrode (6) by external force, and after that, the moving-side electrode (6) is moved toward the jig (9) and pushed against the jig (9) by such force that the arm tip is pushed up by a reactive force, and in the state of holding the jig (9) between the moving-side electrode (6) and the stationary-side electrode (5), the position of a robot in a tool coordinates system and the position of a gun-axis servomotor (7) are taken in as reference positions to release the pressurizing holding of the jig (9). After that, similarly the position of the robot and the position of the gun-axis servomotor (7) are taken in to compute the abrasion quantities of the stationary-side electrode (5) and the moving-side electrode (6) from the respective differences from the reference positions.</p>
