<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect the application state of a non-slip tape to a synthetic resin pallet by simultaneously bringing a pair of sensors into contact with a non-slip tape applied and non-applied parts of the pallet and detecting the height different between the two parts. CONSTITUTION:After applying eight pieces of a non-slip tape T to an assembled pallet W, two pieces each to the front face, rear face, and both side faces of the mounting surface WS of the pallet W, the pallet W is carried to a position near the center of the main body 1 of an inspecting device along a carrying path 3. Then, the pallet W is accurately positioned by means of a stopping mechanism composed of stoppers 4 and 6. Each lifting/lowering device (installed to four locations) 51 lowers two sets of tape detecting mechanisms (total eight sets) 5 to prescribed positions and bring the mechanisms 5 into contact with the vicinities of both end sections of each piece. Each mechanism is composed of a pair of microswitches 5a and 5b and, when each piece is properly applied, the switch 5a is turned off and the switch 5b is turned on. In case the piece is deviated to the end section of the pallet W or not properly applied, both the switches are turned on or off and an inspector is informed of the erroneous application of the piece by means of a buzzer, etc.</p> |
