PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency of the generation of a data base by consistently supporting a whole work arranging and unifying data in existing software so as to design the data base. CONSTITUTION:An existing program analysis part 102 extracts file record definition information in an existing source program in an existing program accumulation part 101, accumulates it in an existing file record information accumulation part 103, causes the names and attributes of a file data item to be relevant, and accumulates them in a data item relevant information accumulation part 104. A data item standardizing part 105 gives a standard data name and a standard data attribute to the data item in respective existing file record information which has been accumulated from an input device 2, converts them and accumulates them in a standardization file record information accumulation part 106. A normalization relation generation part 107 generates normalization relation information which is to be made into the data base, and a logical schemer information generation part 108 generates logical schemer information of the data base corresponding to a relation and accumulates it in an accumulation part 109. Thus, man-hour can be reduced. |
