Sulphur-vulcanised rubber formulation based on diene elastomers, fillers and additives including linear alcohols

This rubber mixture cross-linked by sulphur is especially suitable for tyre treads. It is based on diene elastomers with conventional fillers and additives. The new feature comprises further additions of one or more aliphatic, monofunctional, monohydric alcohols with a chain length of 6-34 carbon atoms. Also claimed is use of the mixture for making tyre treads.
