FUEL CELL AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING LINING ON GAS MANIFOLD OF FUEL CELL

A gas manifold which has an excellent anti-phosphoric acid property and an excellent electric insulation property, and which has a sufficient anticorrosion property over a long period of time. A resin sheet which has a high anti-phosphoric acid property is folded at each inside corner of a gas manifold (15, 16) so that the sheet may become smaller by the quality of thermal expansion. The folded faces are airtightly bonded together by heating to form a box-like lining (20, 21). The inner face of the gas manifold (15, 16) is lined with the lining (20, 21). At an outside bottom face of the lining (20, 21), patches are bonded by heating and male hooks (41) or female hooks (43) are mounted loose on the patches, and then female hooks (43) or male hooks (43) to be engaged with the hooks mounted on the patches are installed at the corresponding positions on an inner face of the gas manifold (15, 16). Using these hooks (41, 43), the lining (20, 21) is removably fixed to the gas manifold (15, 16).
