In order to dispense a medium, such as a powder, a foil seal (16) of a storage chamber (24) is pierced by a tool (40) in a first axial movement, whereupon the medium is suctioned out of the chamber (24) via an outlet (9) by feeding a conveyor flow through channels (55). After carrying out a return stroke and after rotating the tool (40) in relation to the storage device (6), an additional chamber (24) can be emptied in similar fashion. This enables, for instance, a pharmaceutical active substance to be administered in two individual doses as required for nasal treatment. |
