An annular generating magnet and an annular driving magnet are coaxially provided to constitute an annular magnet unit. A plurality of such annular magnet units are arranged on a support shaft at predetermined intervals. An annular generating coil and an annular driving coil are also coaxially provided to constitute an annular coil unit. Such annular coil units are arranged at respective predetermined intervals with certain gaps between the annular magnet units and annular generating units. The outside surface of the annular magnet unit at one end and the outer surface of the annular magnet unit at the other end are joined to yokes. With this constitution, when current is applied to the driving coil, either the annular magnet units or the annular coil units are rotated around the support shaft to generate an electromotive force and electric power. The flux flow passing through the annular generating magnets flows parallel with the support shaft and, further, circulates through a plurality of adjacent generating magnets and the yoke.
