<p>The invention concerns a device for repairing a ruptured Achilles tendon comprising an instrument and a needle. The instrument (20) consists of a pair of internal branches (34, 36) arranged for being inserted in the sheath of the peritendineum on either side of the tendon. The instrument further comprises an external handle in the form of two external branches (33, 37) located on either side of the pair of internal branches in a common plane. These branches have each orifices along the same alignment passing through the tendon. The needle eye (12) has reduced thickness.</p> |
