The switch has an actuating mechanism of a slider (4) and a toggle spring (2) in a housing (1) above an integrated microswitch (3), or an open switching system. The slider forms an actuator comprising an actuating pin protruding out of the housing and a bearing axis (7) for retaining the toggle spring. The spring prestress actuates the microswitch, or another switching system. Pref. the toggle spring is rotatably fitted on the slider axis, when fitted, the spring has support points (10) for one shank and other support points (5) for the other shank. The slider may have guide grooves for actuating pin.
