Detection device for controlling movement of goods on roller conveyor

The radiation sensor controls the movement of goods on a roller conveyor. It has a radiation device and a switching or control device producing an output signal depending on an input signal to control at least one control element acting on a lifting or setting drive of a conveyor element. The switching or control device has a gate logic unit to create the output signal based on the signal delivered by the radiation device and at least two signals from another external radiation sensor. The gate logic unit may store at least one condition of the output signal.
