The arrangement includes a positioning element driven by an electric servo-motor, and an arrangement which regulates a current supplied to the drive arrangement for avoiding a mechanical stress of the drive arrangement which causes a change of the current supplied to the drive arrangement. The arrangement is provided with a permanently magnetic device which follows the movement of the positioning element, and which comprises several sections with alternating polarity along the positioning range of the element. A stationary, magnetic sensitive building block is provided, whose electric output signal changes with the polarity changes of the permanently magnetic device, and includes an electric resistance associated with the servo-motor. The resistance is connected with the building block over a controllable semiconductor component, and causes, in dependence to the output signal of the building block, a measurable change of the current supplied to the drive arrangement.
