The harvesting machine has a travelling chassis, leaf-removing and digging mechanisms, and a collecting hopper of at least 2m3 capacity. The active cleaning can be carried out by protrusions on a driven shaft, or by two or more rollers in a pair and driven in opposite directions. The rollers can be combined with camshafts.
