The plinth socket (3) has side walls (7) extending up from the base at the sides. In the plinth are spacers which allow the appliance to fit at different heights on the base inside the side walls. The side walls are pref. double-walled with a receiving socket (15) for the side walls (29) of the appliance. The spacers fit on the plinth base and can be formed by assembly strips fitting into assembly openings provided in different positions.
