Composite product comprises a layer made from a mixture of thermoplastic and modifying agent (10), covered with a layer made from a mixture of elastomer and modifying agent (12). The thermoplastic is selected from polyamides 6, 6.6, 11, 12, 6/10, and 6/12, poly(ethyleneterephthalate), poly(butyleneterephthalate), polypropylene, and high and low density polyethylene; and at least one thermoplastic modifying agent is selected from polybutadiene-vinyl-1,2 grafted on maleic anhydride, polyoctenes (metallocene elastomer), brominated isobutylene-p-methylstyrene, silanes, and ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer. The elastomer is selected from natural rubbers, synthetic polyisoprenes, (halogenated or hydrogenated) nitrile rubbers, epichlorohydrin-ethylene oxide copolymers, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers, (halogenated) butyl rubbers, and brominated isobutylene-p-methylstyrenes; and at least one elastomeric modifying agent is selected from polybutadiene-vinyl-1, 2 grafted on maleic anhydride or hydroxyl, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers, and copolymers of ethylene-propylene grafted on maleic anhydride. Also claimed is a pipe, for transport of refrigerant in car air-conditioning system, which conforms to the claimed product.
