A side screening for a vehicle comprises at least one support body (5) which is to be fastened to a chassis of the vehicle and an elongate, possibly flat panel (2) which is to be received on the support body (5). The panel comprises over at least part of its length at least one elongate support profile (6) in which a fastening member (7) is to be movably accommodated.
