<p>Upholstered furniture, for sitting and/or lying, designed for public accommodation, e.g. hotels, with an upholstered layer over a sprung insert (2) resting on the first mesh (3), which is interconnected by a height setting device with the second mesh (4), to which the upper edge of the sprung insert (2) is anchored by means of a set of flexible distancing couplings. The height setting device should be composed of at least two pairs of hinged gripping arms (8), longitudinally spaced from one another, where the arms (8) of each pair are arranged with transverse distance from each other and, on the other side of the hinged grips, joined to a rod (9), sliding on the second mesh (3).
