There is described a holder (10) for retaining for instance a fountain pen (1). The holder (10) comprises at least one clamping member (120), which is pivotally bearing-mounted in rotation bearins (40). The clamping member (120) has two clamping arms (21, 22) and an operating portion (27), in which a resilient lip (132) is formed which presses against the bottom (11) of the holder (10) in order to press this operating portion (27) upwards and the clamping arms (21, 22) downwards. Formed on the bottom (11) of the holder (10) is a wedge-shaped threshold (135), of which a vertically directed stop face (136) cooperates with the end (133) of the lip (132) to prevent the clamping member (120) from leaving the rotation bearings (40) in an undesired manner. |
