PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drive system from leaving a cam even if pressure of the injection is increased and reduce impact force and noise by flowing a slight amount of current into a solenoid after a predetermined period of time immediately after the main injection is completed and closing an open and close valve of a supply pressure passage for a predetermined period of time to increase pressure of a plunger chamber. SOLUTION: To perform the main injection for a first solenoid 14 when the injection of fuel is started, a conical shape 13a of a solenoid valve 13 adheres closely to a seat face 16b of an oil collection part 16a, and a drive current flows for a predetermined period of time so that a section between a plunger chamber 11c and the oil collection part 16a is shut off completely. After a predetermined period of time elapses, the solenoid valve 13 travels in the direction of reclosing during the time and a drive current which narrows a clearance between the plunger chamber 11c and the oil collection part 16a flows. Consequently, since pressure of the plunger chamber 11c increases slightly and a slight amount of pressure remains therein, load to be applied to a locker arm 6 is not reduced down to zero abruptly from the maximum load, and at the same time, the locker arm 6 is not bent to the opposite side. |
