COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND COMMUNICATION ESTABLISHMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication network to establish communication between at least one transmission station and at least one destination station. SOLUTION: The network is provided with a plurality of IP switches 57 that designate an address to data according to an Internet protocol and an ATM protocol and route the data. A server 52 connecting to at least any of the IP switches 57 receives at least one service attribute requested by a transmission station making communication with the IP switches 57. In order to provide data with respect to the service attribute in response to the request from the server 52, a network control point(NCP) 54 is adopted. At least one address database (56.1-56.3) relates to each of the IP switches 57. The address data bases 56.1-56.3 include sub-set of data available by the NCP 54.
