PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid generating fogging around the contact place of a finger or a palm pressurized to the optical face of a skin surface pattern input device with respect to the skin surface pattern input device to pressurize the finger or the palm. SOLUTION: This skin surface pattern input device is provided with a face heat source 4 on the rear surface of a cover 3 provided for a housing for protecting the optical face 2. Thereby, at the time of removing the cover 3 on the face 2, a difference between the temperature of the finger or the palm pressurized to the face 2 and the surface temperature of the face 2 to eliminate dew condensation on the face 2. Thereby, as the difference between the temperature of the finger or the palm pressurized to the face 2 and the surface temperature of the face 2 is eliminated, moisture in air surrounding the finger or the palm does not form dew condensation on the face 2 to prevent the generation of fogging around the contact place of the finger or the palm. |
