<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnet wherein a shaft and a hole are set so as not to come into contact with each other even under conditions of unbalanced electromagnetic force which works in the axial right-angle directions, so that the Coulomb friction is removed and the life span problem concerning the contact portion is solved irrespectively of magnetic path resistance, and the athaction force characteristics are substantially corrected while preventing a dumping effect from being worsened, thus improving durability and controllability with a compact structure. SOLUTION: This electromagnet has an oil-immersion structure which comprises a shaft 20, a movable iron core 19, a cartridge 22 for partitioning a solenoid chamber 73, and a series of yokes which surround coils 17 and have an attraction surface 71 with a hole 70. The shaft 20 is supported by a leaf spring 24 at the jutted end portion 82 and by a ball bearing 23 at the other end portion 83. As the iron core 19 which is movable in a constant current state, moves in an attraction direction, an apparent attraction force decreases.</p> |
