<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a summary of an outline image quickly even when a transmission speed is slow. SOLUTION: A numeral value representing a reference resolution (where, 50dpi) is substituted to a variable (r) (S1). A current time is substituted to a variable (t0) (S2) to decode the data of resolution (r) (S3). The current time is substituted to a variable (t1) to calculate times (t1-t0) required for decoding processing (S4). When no succeeding image exists (S5), the processing is terminated but when a succeeding image exists (S5), the decoding processing time (t1-t0) is compared with a reference time (Tref) (S6). When the time (t1-t0) exceeds the (Tref) (S6), the resolution is halved (S7). When the time (t1-t0) is less than the (Tref) (S6), the (t1-t0) is compared with the (Tref/2) (S8) and when the (t1-t0) is less than the (Tref/2), the resolution is doubled (S9). The resolution is revised or maintained in this way and the steps after the S2 are repeated.</p> |
