摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a shift shock by changing the engaging order of a second frictionally engaging element in which one-way clutch is intervened, and a first frictionally engaging element having no one-way clutch, depending on the load condition of a vehicle, and performing an adequate engaging control by pressure-governing means using frictionally engaging elements having proper torque capacities. SOLUTION: Brakes B2 and B1 are pressure-adjusted and controlled respectively by linear solenoid valves, and a shift control is started to control piston- strokes of both the brakes. Then, the load on a vehicle is detected, and when the load is heavy, the brake B2 is engagingly controlled, and the brake B1 is engagingly controlled after the synchronous rotation. When the load is light, the brake B1 is engagingly controlled, and the brake B2 is engagingly controlled after the synchronous rotation.
