PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely fix indication bodies for passers-by and increase visibility, by arranging the indication bodies along the bottom faces of a number of slender grooves formed on the surface of treadboards and fixing with pressure one end of the longitudinal direction of the indication bodies to the treadboards and sinking the other end in one stage tower recess than the bottom face of the grooves. SOLUTION: In an escarator type conveyor for passengers for instance, indication bodies of footmarks are provided at the positions where passengers should stand correctly on all surfaces of the treadboards 4 or at every several treadboards. The indication body is provided with rectangular indication pieces 7A (the indication body is the integral form of these pieces) along the bottom face of a number of slender grooves 4A of the surface of the treadboard 4. In the front end of the longitudinal direction, the end tread piece arranged at the front end of the treadboard 4 and provided with the same surface shape with the treadboard 4 is fastened and fixed to a part of the tread 4 with screws or the like. And further, the rear face of the indication pieces 7A is stuck on the whole bottom face of the groove with an adhesive 7B. Recesses 4C are formed on the bottom faces of the grooves 4A and the ends of indication pieces 7A are sunk in the recesses 4C and the bottom faces thereof are stuck thereon with the adhesive 7B. |
