PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a label to be easily seen and also not to give a user needless confusion when the label is shown on a display part of a receiver. SOLUTION: This method performs label display of a digital radio receiver which uses received label information and shows a label of a program, etc., on a display part. In such cases, the method receives label information that is expressed by a code which includes at least a space code and a character code from a broadcast station, recognizes a leading character position and shows a character string after the leading character at a specific position of each display area D1 to D8 of a display part 18a, e.g. in a left-justifying way from a left edge.
