REINFORCEMENT OF MOBILITY AND GROWTH OF KERATINOCYTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing the subject properties influencing on the improvement in the cure rates of wounds by bringing the keratinocytes into contact with purified clostridiopeptidase A collagenase and a growth factor in an amount to increase the effect of the enzyme. SOLUTION: This method for reinforcing the mobility and growth of keratinocytes on the cures of human wounds comprises bringing the keratinocytes into contact (A) pure clostridiopeptidase A collagnease substantially not containing other proteases in an effective amount of about 0.5-150 ABC units/ml and (B) a growth factor such as a heparin-binding epithelium-like growth factor in a collagenase effect-increasing amount of about 0.01-10ng/ml.
