PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable preparation for quick printing work, specially the supply preparation of a recording medium to be executed by discriminating whether the recording medium reproduced by erasing an image can be used again or not and setting the carrying state of the recording medium according to the discriminated result and the detected result of size. SOLUTION: When a recording paper is ejected from a reproducing processing part, it is detected by a photosensor 4 that the recording paper is passed and a time counting action for detecting the size is started. Then, information related on the detection of the size is fetched in a storage part. Besides, the detected result of density is fetched and it is discriminated whether the density is equal to or under the prescribed density. When the recording paper is judged to be unreusable based on respective detected data, a pawl for switching a carrying path 1E1 is set so that a recording part can be introduced to a stacker for recovery. When it is judged to be reusable, the first pawl 1E1 is set so that the carrying path directed toward anyone of stackers for resupply is set. |
