PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the setting preferred by each of a plurality of viewers to the television receiver automatically in the case that a plurality of the viewers view the same television receiver in a different timing. SOLUTION: A finger characteristic read means 11 reads a characteristic of each finger of each viewer, a registration party discrimination circuit 12 of a registration discrimination means discriminates whether or not the finger is registered in advance corresponding to a read result of the finger characteristic read means 11, and when the finger is discriminated to be registered in advance, to which finger the tested finger corresponds among the registered fingers is discriminated. When it is discriminated that the discrimination result of the registration party discrimination circuit 12 indicates that the tested finger is not a registered finger, a database circuit 13 and a control circuit 14 conduct any special control, and when it is discriminated that the tested finger is in existence among the registered finger, at least either of video and audio outputs is controlled so that a prescribed setting corresponding to the discriminated finger is obtained. |
