PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an output voltage constant and to reduce ripples by incorporating a plurality of capacitors as charge storage capacitors, and connecting the capacitors suitably in parallel or separating them. SOLUTION: This charge pump type DC-DC converter comprises a plurality of capacitors 15, 20, 25 as charge storage capacitors, suitably connected in parallel or separated to vary a capacity value of the storage capacitors. Also, in the converter, number of connections of the capacitors 15, 20, 25 is controlled according to an external signal, and its connecting number is controlled in response to a detected output of a detecting means. Moreover, the number of the capacitors 15, 20, 25 may be arbitrary, and the more it is, more fine on the control be performed. Further, the capacitors 15, 20, 25 need not be the same capacitor value at all. |
