PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize gradation printing of high quality level by reducing the granular feeling in respective density changeover sections to almost equal when printing is carried out by using a plurality of kinds of inks of different density in similar color groups. SOLUTION: In the case of printing using a plurality of kinds of printing agents of different reflective density on a printing medium in similar color groups, the number of kinds of printing agents is set as C and the reflective density at the time of providing the given amount of the printing agents on the printing medium is set as 0D1, 0D2,..., 0DC in the order starting from the higher density toward the lower density, printing is so carried out as to satisfy the formula of [(C+1-N)/(1.25×C)]×0D1<=0DN<=[(C+1-N)/(0.83×C)]×0D1. (In the formula, N=2∼C). For instance, in the case of printing using two kinds of inks of different density on the tertiary value level, a high quality level image is formed by reducing with good balance the granular feeling of light color ink dots in an area (t) and the granular feeling of deep color ink dots in the light color ink dots in an area (n). |
