PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display screen designing device that can print not all but only necessary screen constitution items so as to be easily viewed in a small number of pages, and a recording medium for recording a display screen designing program. SOLUTION: This is a display screen designing device 4, which designs a display screen 33a of a display 3 connected with a programmable controller 2 for controlling an outside equipment 1 for displaying at least the operating situation of the outside equipment 1.
