PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal equipment for IC card that can easily add an application on the IC card side without changing any control program. SOLUTION: This is a portable terminal equipment 1 for IC card, which accepts an IC card having plural applications for storing data for each of those plural applications, and storing plural application names corresponding to each application, reads the data from the accepted IC card, and displays the data on a liquid crystal display part 2. In this device, a controlling part 11 activates the IC card, reads the plural application names from the IC card, and displays an application selection screen on the display part 2 according to the plural read application names. A user selects the application on this display screen, and the control part 11 reads the data of the selected application from the IC card, and displays the read data on the display part 2. |
