PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent color blots by matching the data of plural sensors with the value of the sensor arranged at the center of the sensor when the edge part of a black character or a black line or the like is found at the time of reading original images for which an original is irradiated and the reflected light is image-formed by the image sensor of plural lines. SOLUTION: The original images for which the original is irradiated with light and the reflected light is image-formed are read by the image sensor 17 of the three lines, read RGB data are inputted to the window register of a color slippage correction part 25 and the window of M×N (M and N are natural numbers) pixels respectively is formed. Then, in the case that a correction condition judgement circuit for detecting whether or not read data inside the window of the M×N pixels are changed from white to black or from black to white judges that center pixel data inside the window of the M×N pixels are changed from white to black or from black to white, a correction circuit matches the values to the data of the sensor arranged at the center of the image sensor 17 of the three lines for all three colors.
