MOUNT FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount for integrated circuit with which an integrated circuit can be arranged accurately against other system components. SOLUTION: A mount 10 is provided on a base which is a portion of another system component and has two mounting posts. The main body of the mount 10 is a frame for holding an integrated circuit and has post apertures 120 for accepting the mounting posts. A frame 110 has internal channels which are extended from the post apertures 120 and contain plunger/spring pairs. Screws pressed against the wedge-shaped ends of the plungers 150 press the plungers 150 against the mounting posts and moves the mount 10 against the base. The plunger/spring pair are provided for adjustment through parallel displacement and rotation. The tripodal arrangement of the set screws are provided for inclination and height adjustment. It is possible to add an internal frame to the mount 10 so as to provide for electrical connection.
