<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back carrying type reel adjustable in reel height. SOLUTION: In this reel, a vertically extended longitudinal member 2a of a frame 2 is a hollow body with slits 2b opened at upper and lower parts, and a support part 3a and a sliding part 3b of a base seat 3 are connected through these slits 2b. The base seat 3 is therefore movable in relation to the frame 2. A spring member 5a fitted to the lower part of the longitudinal member 2a is a compression spring, while a spring member 5b fitted to the upper part of the longitudinal member 2a is an expansion spring, and both spring members 5a, 5b energize the sliding part 3b upward. Since the weight and spring force of the reel 1 are in balanced positions, the height of the reel 1 becomes suitable height according to the residual quantity of a cable and the angle of a forward inclining posture of a back carrying person so as to make back carrying easy and stable.</p> |
