<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local deodorizer having improved practicability by placing a deodorizer storing adsorbent and deodorant in the adjacent to a bed and, after letting malodor exhaust from excreta pass through the adsorbent and adsorbing the malodor, disinfecting it through the deodorant. SOLUTION: A deodorizer 1 formed by storing adsorbent 2 and deodorant 3 is provided with a flexible hose 5 having an exhaust port 4 for discharging exhaust B and a suction port 6. The deodorizer 1 can be moved in the adjacent to a bed 7 by casters 12. In a case of changing a diaper of a person M in need of a carer, the deodorizer 1 is set near the bed 7, the suction port 6 of the flexible hose 5 is applied on the diaper part, and a fan motor 10 is driven. This constitution can suck the malodor generated from the diaper through the suction port, 6, let it pass through the adsorbent 2, and remove large odor substances and moisture. Successively, it is sent to the deodorant 3 and, after disinfecting odor substances of small particles such as ammonia, it is exhausted B from the exhaust port 4.
