<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an internal circuit from an overvoltage application upon a signal input terminal. SOLUTION: In an signal input circuit in which protective diodes D1 and D2 are respectively connected between a signal input terminal 1 and the power terminal 2 of a VDD and between the terminal 1 and the power terminal 3 of a VSS, a protective transistor MN2 having commonly connected source and gate is connected between power lines 11 and 12 respectively connected to the power terminal 2 and 3 and the connecting positions of the transistor MN2 to the lines 11 and 12 are set so that the total resistance values of the current routes of the lines 11 and 12 from the signal input terminal 1 can become <=10Ωwhen an overvoltage is applied.</p> |
