<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine with a composite function capable of incorporating a digitizer for editing and a sheet feeder into one machine and saving space, by replacing an original placing glass for reading an original with a transparent digitizer. SOLUTION: A transparent tablet composed of a glass tablet provided with plural transparent electrode lines disposed along X and Y coordinate axes, a tablet driver for impressing signals to the respective electrode lines and an input pen capacitance-coupled with the respective transparent electrode lines is used. The main substrate 7 for coordinate detection of the transparent tablet is composed of a tablet driver part 8 capable of impressing carrier signals from both sides of the electrode lines for fixed time independently to each electrode line of X and Y, an input signal amplification part 11 and a CPU part 12. The input signal amplification part 11 turns fine signals capacitance- coupled and induced to the input pen 9 to DC signals when the input pen 9 is located near the tablet 10. The CPU part 12 digitizes and computes them and outputs them as coordinate values.</p> |
