PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the time setting operability by adding a specific telephone number to a base station to transmit the clock data and also adding a means which dials the specific telephone number to transmit a sending request command of the clock data to a radio telephone set together with a means which sets the time of a clock based on the time of the clock data that is acquired from the base station. SOLUTION: When a clock setting function number is inputted from a key input part 10, a communication control means 22 dials a specific telephone number for sending the clock data on a base station via a transmitting/receiving part 30 and transmits the additional information together with a clock data request command, e.g. 'XX'. The base station generates the clock data consisting of 10 bytes including those showing the current year, month, day, hour, second and minute, a header, a checksum, etc., and transmits the clock data to a radio telephone set together with the additional information. A clock count means 24 of the telephone set sets the received time data as the current time and starts the clock of an outgoing circuit part 50. |
