PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of welding a raised member or a cloth- like member to thermoplastic resin by a reduced number of processes, and an a apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: A carpet 10 and a door trim 20 made of a PP resin placed on a first press mold 30 are welded by a second press mold 40. A plurality of welding horns 30 are arranged at the second press mold 40 and the PP resin 20 and a PE packing 16 on the rear surface of the carpet 10 are heated and melted to weld the door trim 20 and the carpet 10. In this case, a number of processing processes can be reduced as compared with a case performing welding by one welding horn.
