摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interpolate a missed frame and to reproduce an image of a natural movement despite a small allowance rate of a transmission line by deciding that a mobile object has a parallel movement when the motion vector larger than the prescribed value is included in the mobile object that is detected from an adjacent frame. SOLUTION: The entropy encoding of the input encoding image data is defrosted and adversely quantized, and a DCT code is defrosted. The defrosted data are stored in an estimator 6. The movement of a mobile object is compensated by the motion vector (b) that is separated by an entropy decoder 2. A synthesizer 5 reproduces a decoded image (a) that is not inserted. These operations are carried out as conventional. Then the decoder 2 synthesizes the mobile object included in a missed frame by the morphing processing showing the change to the mobile object of a rear adjacent frame from that of a front adjacent frame and produces the missed frame information (c). A missed frame constitution/insertion device 7 inputs the signals (a, b and c) and reproduces an image of a natural movement that compensates the missed frame.</p>
