PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fixation oil sticking to a paper from sticking to a transfer belt, to prolong the life of the transfer belt and to improve the transfer by providing an offset preventing agent removing device on the way of a carrying path of a 2nd carrying means and removing the offset preventing agent sticking to the transfer material when it passes through a fixing means. SOLUTION: In the case a both-side image forming mode is selected, in order to form an image on the 2nd surface of the paper P, the paper P with a color image formed on the 1st surface by the fixing roller 36 is carried toward a reverse carrying path 27 through a 1st gate 40 positioned as shown by a continuos line, with the silicone oil held, which stuck to the paper when the paper is brought into contact with the fixing roller 36 at the fixation time. And by making the paper P pass through an oil absorbing member 44 while the paper P is carried on a 1st pull-in carrying path 27a, the silicone oil sticking to both sides of the paper P is absorbed and removed, then, the paper P is drawn once to a 2nd pull-in carrying path 27b by a pull-in roller 28c which is rotated in a direction shown by an arrow (o) through a 2nd gate 28c. |
