PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary driver in which abnormal rotation of a stepping motor can be detected surely through a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: Abnormal rotation of a stepping motor 2 can be detected surely through a simple arrangement, wherein a decision is made whether the number of pulses supplied to the stepping motor 2 in a specified rotational direction after the rotational position of a forth gear 6 is detected by a switch 7 matches the number of pulses supplied to the stepping motor 2 in the opposite rotational direction before the rotational position of the forth gear 6 is detected by a switch 7. |
