PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dust collecting electrodes with a simple structure and whose assembling work and maintenance work can easily be carried out by producing electrode members with a multilayer structure by rolling the members while inserting a ventilative insulator between the electrode members, regarding dust collecting electrodes suitable to be used for electric dust collectors which collect dust such as finely powdered dust generated in a welding work. SOLUTION: The electrode members 10 with a multilayer structure and composing dust collecting electrodes 20 are produced by inserting an intermediate insulating layer 13 between two thin conductive materials 11, 12 for an anode and a cathode and coating respective surfaces of both conductive materials 11, 12 with thin surface insulating layers 14, 15. In this case, an aluminum foil with 5-10μm thickness is used for both conductive materials 11, 12, polyethylene or polyester with 90-100μm thickness is used for the intermediate insulating layer 13, and polyethylene or polyester with 10-20μm thickness is used for the surface insulating layers 14, 15. While sandwiching a sponge with, for example, 70-130μm thickness as the ventilative insulator 17, the electrode members 10 are spirally rolled to compose the dust collecting electrodes 20.
