ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND MOLDED PRODUCT THEREFROM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elastomer which exhibits excellent rubber elasticity over a wide temperature range and has excellent low-temperature impact resistance and good moldability. SOLUTION: A mixture comprising a hydrolyzable-silyl-containing ethylene/α- olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber, a silicon crosslinking agent having at least two SiH groups in the molecule, a hydrosilylation catalyst and a hydrolyzable-silyl-containing PE resin is dynamically treated to obtain a hydraulic elastomer composition. This composition is molded, and the molding is brought into contact with water to crosslink the hydrolyzable-silyl-containing ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber and the hydrolyzable- silyl-containing PE resin and to thereby obtain an elastomer molding.
